Is the Rapture/Resurrection before the seven year tribulation?

The timing of the rapture depends heavily on understanding all of the timings of end times in general.

One of the saddest things to see is Christians arguing over whether the rapture is pre-trib, post-trib or in the middle, when in fact none have a firm understanding of the timeline of end times events. They themselves are looking at the topic piecemeal. The only way to really understand this is to look at the scriptures as a whole – when will it happen relative to other events.
