I Corinthians
A new Verse by Verse Ministry study begins on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:00 PM at Wayside Chapel in San Antonio, Texas. Study through Paul's
first letter to the church in Corinth, a church rife with sexual immorality, pagan worship and vestiges of Greek cultural influence. Paul's letter
combines extreme patience with firm correction as the Apostle pleads with the believers in Corinth to set aside the fleshly, sinful practices of
their earlier lives and chart a new course as Christians. Along the way, Paul contends with various doctrines, heresies and church practices including
the misuse of spiritual gifts, eternal rewards for believers, treatment of the physical body, rules for marriage and divorce, and numerous other hot topics -
for both the church then and today.

The 90-minute study will meet weekly in Building 300, located in the back parking lot of the church.
The study is open to all, and there is no cost to participate in the study, nor is advance registration required.
